Just Driving...

Ahhh! Back to Monday! I'm starting to like weekdays, all the doctors are in their offices! lol! We had a great weekend! We all went to a local fair, sweat our Memphis buns off and even got a bit of sun! Sunday, the girls and I went to see Disney on Ice...Princesses! They loved it! I even let them have their first taste of Dippin Dots, the real ice-cream!! To see the joy and excitement in their eyes was worth every hard earned dollar! Of course, Elena wondered why they looked different than the movies. :>) Cute! Her favorite is Mermaid! Lex loved Mickey and Tinker Bell & Morg, well she was interested in her ice-cream and snow cone. They had both...oh well! :>)

I don't have a lot of time (homework), so you get my short & sweet update today! Naturally, I didn't understand why I was waiting until the 20th for my BIG test! I mean, techs do these...they don't get two weeks off for vacation without someone subbing in! :>) So I called, it was meant to be. I called the hospital myself, told them about my doctors orders that where already called in. I also explained why I was calling and why I jut needed to know! The receptionist asked me to hold, I must have waited 10 minutes on hold! I was just about to hang-up when she came back and said, "it's your lucky day, someone just called to cancel their MRI appointment for TOMORROW!" Yes, Tuesday the 11th! This had to be done before the biopsy, I guess that was the hold up. So, the biopsy is now scheduled for Wednesday the 12th! Yahooo!! I'm hoping all these results will be in by the 18th. I'll let you know when the official results are to be given to me! As for the surgeon who ordered them, well I wasn't crazy about him to start with and now their not on my team! I've left two messages with different questions and no one has called me back! Instead, my first surgeon's nurse (the non oncologist) has been helping me. This nurse is getting cookies the next time I'm in the area! Technically, they have turned me over to the surgeon-oncologist. No time for slackers, right!
Hopefully we can end with a story in my favor and send this blog to other people who are saddened of the possibility and know...there is always that chance the doctors are wrong!!!
